Privacy Policy.

Tarsus Growth Company ("TGC," "we," "us") runs this website, tarsusgrowthco.com. This page explains what happens to information when you visit the site, take the Lifecycle Growth Quiz, or sign up for the newsletter. It covers this website only, not the systems we build for clients, which run under each client's own accounts and policies.

What we collect, and why

There are three places on this site where you can give us information directly.

• Newsletter signup. A short form, first name and email, that appears as a band near the bottom of many pages. We use it to send you the newsletter. When you submit it, the form also records which page you were on (page_path) and which version of the form you used (source), so we can see which pages bring people to sign up. A hidden field that real visitors never see is a spam trap that flags bot submissions.
• Lifecycle Growth Quiz. A short set of questions about how your store handles the customer journey, at /lifecycle-growth-quiz.html. To see your results you give us your first name, your email, your state, your store platform, and your email platform. Your store URL is optional. Two rough numbers about your store (how many customers ordered in the last two years, and your average order value) are also optional. If you answer them, our server checks them to tell us whether the work we do looks like a good fit, and we keep that result with your submission. We also keep your answers and your results. Your answers are scored in your browser, on your own device.
• Growth Survey. A longer set of questions about your business that we ran for a while to learn what founders were dealing with. It is closed to new responses. If you submitted one while it was open, that response is still on file under the terms below.

The quiz does not look at your store. It never asks for a login, and it does not connect to your store, your email platform, or any of your accounts. Everything we know about your store is what you type into the form.

Where this information goes

Every form on this site submits through Netlify Forms, the form-handling service built into our hosting provider, Netlify. Your submission lands in our Netlify account. Netlify processes it on our behalf as a service provider. We do not sell it or rent it.

Brevo, our email service. Some information also goes to Brevo, the email service we use to send the newsletter and the quiz emails:

• Newsletter signup: your first name and email are added to our newsletter list in Brevo. The page and form version stay in Netlify only.
• Quiz: only if you tick the box that says "Email me my results and occasional tips from Tarsus." If you do not tick it, nothing from your quiz goes to Brevo, and we do not email you. If you do, we add you to a quiz list in Brevo with your first name, your email, the date, your two biggest findings, your level in each of the eight areas the quiz scores, whether our server marked your store as a fit, a few of your answers (whether your repeat purchase cycle is long, whether you sell subscriptions, whether in-person sales apply to you, and your answer about the return you get from reaching new customers), and the store URL, state, store platform, and email platform you gave us. The two rough store numbers themselves, and your full answers, are not sent to Brevo.

If you subscribe through either route, you receive the newsletter, and quiz subscribers also receive a short series of emails about their results. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Brevo handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Booking a call uses a scheduling link that takes you to a separate scheduling service. Anything you enter there is handled by that service under its own policy, not by this site.

Tracking, cookies, and third parties

We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking software on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta or Facebook pixel, no ad network of any kind. This site does not set cookies of its own.

The site's typefaces are served from our own hosting, so your browser does not contact a font provider when a page loads. The pages link out to social media profiles and our booking page, but those services only see you if you click through.

What we store on your device

This site uses your browser's storage for two small things. Neither is a cookie, and neither is sent to us.

• tgc-newsletter (local storage) is saved when you sign up for the newsletter, so the browser remembers that you subscribed. It stays until you clear your browser's site data.
• tgc-growth-check-note-v2 (session storage) remembers that you dismissed the small quiz message at the bottom of the page. It lasts only for that browser tab and is gone when you close it.

To clear either one, open your browser's settings and clear site data for tarsusgrowthco.com.

How long we keep this, and how to have it deleted

We do not currently delete submissions on a set schedule. We keep newsletter signups for as long as you are subscribed, and we keep quiz and survey submissions on file as a record of contact until you ask us to remove them.

To see what we have, ask us to delete it, or be removed from our email lists, write to jason@tarsusgrowthco.com. We will complete deletion requests within 3 business days. We will delete your records in Netlify and Brevo.

Children's privacy

This site is built for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and nothing here is directed at them.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we handle it changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
